Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic professional to lead our CSR and Partnerships efforts. This is a key leadership role responsible for driving our fundraising initiatives through CSR channels, cultivating long-term institutional partnerships, and shaping the external engagement strategy of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- CSR Fundraising Strategy & Execution: Lead and execute multi-sector fundraising campaigns via corporate CSR and philanthropic channels. Proactively develop and manage a robust pipeline of high-value corporate donors and institutional funders, ensuring retention through impactful stewardship.
- Partnership Development & Management: Build and nurture high-impact partnerships with corporations, foundations, educational institutions, government bodies, and social ecosystem stakeholders. Represent the NGO professionally at external forums, conferences, and networking events.
- Relationship Management: Serve as the primary custodian and point of contact for corporate CSR donors. Cultivate transparent, long-term relationships built on shared impact metrics. Intersect with relevant government administrative layers, schools, and colleges to scale organizational community outreach.
- Reporting & Documentation: Oversee the timely delivery of comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual donor updates. Monitor fund allocation and utilization, providing transparent updates to both institutional funders and internal leadership.
- Global Fundraising Coordination: Collaborate directly with the foundation’s USA-based team to design, orchestrate, and execute international cross-border fundraising campaigns and global donor engagement strategies.
Qualifications & Skills
- Graduate or Postgraduate degree from a reputed educational institution.
- Minimum 7–10 years of professional experience in CSR fundraising, high-growth business development, institutional partnerships, or related fields (direct NGO/social sector experience preferred).
- Demonstrated ability to function independently, take complete ownership, and thrive with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal, with mandatory proficiency in English (additional regional languages are a plus).
- Proven corporate networking, high-level relationship-building, and commercial negotiation capabilities.
- Strategic thinker possessing hands-on implementation capabilities and proven experience drafting compelling impact proposals.
- Proficiency across the MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel); exposure to structured CRM systems is a distinct advantage.
Additional Requirements
- Must be based in Mumbai and willing to travel frequently to programmatic field centers across Mumbai and other target cities as needed.
- Full-time operations: Monday to Saturday schedule (with the 2nd and 4th Saturdays off).
