About the Role
Muktangan Education Trust is seeking a Project Coordinator (Alumni Department) to strengthen engagement with its growing alumni network while supporting students in their educational and career journeys.
The role involves maintaining strong relationships with alumni, coordinating career guidance initiatives, managing scholarship and college application support, organizing events and educational visits, and documenting impact stories for communication and fundraising purposes.
This is a full-time, in-office position based in Mumbai, Maharashtra, ideal for professionals with excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain regular communication with alumni and keep alumni records and databases updated.
- Manage the alumni dashboard and provide analytics, recommendations, and engagement insights to senior leadership.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between Muktangan management and alumni.
- Support alumni with scholarships, career guidance, professional development opportunities, volunteering, and networking.
- Document alumni impact stories and collaborate with the Resources and Communications team for fundraising and outreach.
- Conduct career awareness sessions for students through the World of Exposure programme.
- Organize educational visits for alumni and school students to organizations and institutions.
- Guide alumni through college and university application processes, including documentation and certificates.
- Coordinate with school faculty to support alumni admissions and educational planning.
- Identify merit-based and need-based scholarships and assist alumni with applications.
- Develop alumni clubs that encourage leadership, networking, and skill development.
- Plan and organize alumni events, networking sessions, and formal meetings.
- Encourage alumni participation as volunteers across school programmes.
Must have skills and competencies
- Graduate or Postgraduate in any discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship management abilities.
- Good organizational and coordination skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and maintain accurate documentation.
- Fluency in English and Marathi.
