Purpose of the Role
As the organization enters a strategic phase of growth, the Corporate Partnership Associate will play a key role in securing the resources needed to scale the organization’s impact. The role involves supporting end-to-end fundraising processes, identifying and converting new funding leads, stewarding donor relationships, and managing grant-related communication and reporting. The Associate will also contribute to the creation and management of high-quality fundraising collaterals and corporate engagement events.
Key Responsibilities
- Donor Research and Lead Generation: Identify and research potential institutional partners, including corporate CSR funds, HNIs, and family foundations. Initiate proactive outreach through cold emails/calls and coordinate introductory conversations to build a strong corporate fundraising pipeline.
- Donor Engagement and Conversion: Prepare structured, tailored pitch decks and proposals for potential donors. Ensure timely, high-quality follow-ups to build organizational trust and increase the likelihood of partner conversion and long-term retention.
- Proposal and Pitch Development: Design, maintain, and refresh core fundraising assets such as the organizational master pitch deck, custom proposal templates, project-specific concept notes, donor FAQs, and impact case studies. Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and external consultants to ensure all fundraising data is up to date.
- Relationship Management and Stewardship: Assist the CEO in managing and nurturing long-term strategic relationships with active and prospective donors. Provide transparent communication, prompt acknowledgment, and high-quality updates to ensure partner confidence.
- Donor Reporting and Communication: Partner with the internal programmes team to gather field data, qualitative insights, and financial documentation. Produce accurate, compelling, and compliant reports that capture impact metrics while meeting deadlines and explicit donor requirements.
- Event Support and Campaign Execution: Plan and execute donor-facing fundraising events, including center visits, community engagement sessions, marathons, and structured crowdfunding campaigns designed to raise capital and brand credibility.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with basic storytelling capabilities.
- Proactive, goal-oriented aptitude for corporate fundraising, brand pitches, or business development.
- Strong interpersonal, networking, and corporate relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency across corporate applications including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Canva.
- Ability to synthesize large quantities of programmatic data into clear, compelling text.
- Process-oriented mindset with high attention to detail, administrative compliance, and due diligence.
- Resilience, personal initiative, and tenacity in securing new corporate pipeline leads.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in any field is mandatory.
- Experience: 1–2 years of minimum professional experience, with at least 6 months directly within the social sector (via formal employment, an established fellowship, or structured volunteering).
- Prior hands-on experience in Fundraising or CSR partnerships is highly preferred.
